2021
Catherine Kremer of Saint Clair is the 2021 recipient of the prestigious Helen Moyer Curb Appeal Beautification Award from the South Schuylkill Garden Club. The award pays tribute to property owners who go that extra step in beautifying their home and surroundings.
"Catherine's property is in Saint Clair and benefits the neighborhood through its beauty," said Jane Kruse, president of South Schuylkill Garden Club. "Her garden focuses on diverse roses and has many different small environments to work with from open sun to shade. Her award application is unique in that so much was completed in a relatively small yard."
The garden club serves anybody with an interest in gardening and features an annual plant sale, supports community gardens in Schuylkill Haven and Pine Grove, and offers a scholarship to students too.
